What is Design?
Design is the process of imagining, planning, and execution of various elements within an ecosystem with the intention to improve usability. Good design drives development in terms of serving stakeholders, being effective and resourceful.

But how do we define usability? What is development? How is one a stakeholder, and how does one have an impact? What is effective and what do we mean by being resourceful? And for whom? Do we cater to multiple perspectives or should we focus on being objective?

The Good, the Bad
and the Effective
The resources available at our disposal has given us the ability to access knowledge and information about virtually any topic of our choosing. This has given us the opportunity to have our own unique viewpoint towards everything. With so much diversity in opinion and thinking its no longer important to view our work in a single light.

As creatives and designers, driving the industry; it's essential to be context driven and find solutions which are contextual, based on the needs and requirements of our audience.

Visual communication provides us with the basic tools to create such solutions using typography and composition principles, color theory, imagery, and illustrations. Using these basic blocks we are capable of providing experiences which make meaning for our audiences. These tools, methods, and techniques are not only used to provide tangible solutions, but also sensory outcomes.
